As the co-founder of ETI, Barbara Carr has more than 20 years experience in project and workflow management for a full array of technology projects. Carr is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ETI. She personally directs the coordination of equipment and personnel and acts as an added point of contact for each ETI field project.
President and Lead Consultant
Dan Carr is BISCI certified with more than 30 years of experience in data communications and electronic design. He is Alvarion and Stratex certified and holds his Federal Communications Commission (FCC) amateur radio license and is licensed as a First Class General Radio and Telephone Operator.
Carr has been a part of the personal computer industry since its onset in the 1970s. During that time, he held technology specialist positions for Recognition Equipment; MicroAge, Computer Land and AmeriData. He has worked as an instructor at Kansas City, Kansas Community College where he taught Assembly Language Programming; Introduction to Microcomputers; Networking; and Computer Troubleshooting. Carr holds an associate’s degree in computer science.
Network Design Engineer
Mike Pirotte has more than 20 years experience in data communications, network design, wireless infrastructure and information management. Prior to joining ETI, he has held sales, management and consulting positions with UMB Bank, Commerce Bank, Informix Software (now IBM), Kansas City Southern Industries and Stillwell Financial. He is Alvarion, Ceragon, Microsoft and Citrix certified and has completed Cisco training. Pirotte earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University and completed 40+ of computer science-related coursework.
